History

Buried in Crestwood, Moses Dickson was an abololitionist and minister and founder of the secret organization The Knights of
Liberty who helped enslaved

people to freedom through the Underground Railroad.

Crestwood is the burial place of  Revolutionary War soldier Sgt. John Sappington
